The Active for Good Android app works by pulling data from your Google Fit app. Activity data can be captured by the phone as a standalone device or with the use of other various apps and trackers that sync with Google Fit.
Below are the steps you can follow to see what kind of data the Google Fit is capturing.
- Find and launch the "Fit" app on your device.
- The screen will show current activity totals. You can also use the red "+" to add activity manually (For example after a Yoga class or bike ride).
Note: Your phone will only capture step data as a standalone device when carried with you while walking (used without a tracker).
