The Active for Good iOS app works by pulling activity data from Apple's Health app. Activity data can be captured by the phone as a standalone or with the use of various apps and trackers (including Apple Watch) that sync with the Apple Health app.
Below are the steps you can follow to see what kind of data the Apple Health App is capturing.
- Find and open the "Health" app on your phone.
- Click on "Today" in the lower navigation.
- Select any day on the calendar to see what activity data was captured that day.
Note: Your phone will only capture step data as a standalone device when carried with you while walking (used without a tracker). Under "Sources" you will see which apps on your phone are potentially sending data to the Health app.
To confirm that you have enabled the Active for Good app to receive your Health app data, follow the directions here.
